Naa Istam Movie First Look Wallpaper/Poster

 Daggubati Rana is coming up with a romantic action film Naa Ishtam after testing his luck with two different types of films. He is paired up Genelia in this movie and it is directed by debutante Prakash Toleti. Naa Ishtam logo and first look were revealed by Rana himself.

Rana is very confident over the success of this film. Rana didn’t try to showcase himself as a commercial hero in his first two films. But this time he is trying out all the commercial elements and is hoping that this filmwould take him close to the masses.

Rana also has Department movie in Hindi which is likely to be dubbed in Telugu. Ram Gopal Varma isbanking on Rana’s strengths for that film. Naa Ishtam will release in January.

The film had the largest worldwide opening for a Telugu film, releasing globally in 1600 screens, including 71 screens in Hyderabad, India. It also shattered records by releasing in 15 screens in Chennai and 79 theaters in the United States, the highest ever for a Telugu film in both the cases. The satellite rights of the film were sold to MAA TV for INR 5.4 crore.
It also became the first Telugu film to release in Botswana and was opened in a single screen with one show by the Telugu Association of Botswana. Further, it was released in Netherlands, Germany, South Africa and Dubai, the first for a Telugu film, and in regular overseas markets like Singapore, Malaysia and UK, making it the biggest overseas release for a Telugu film as well. The producers of the film approached the high court for a John Doe order to prevent piracy of the film.

CNN-IBN gave three and half stars said "Dookudu is a treat for Mahesh's fans. But others can also enjoy this film for its comedy elements and Mahesh's powerful presence." The Times Of India also gave a three and half rating noted ""Dookudu" is a typical Srinu Vytla film with a generous sprinkling of comedy. His narrative manages to keep the audience engaged until the end of the movie." Deccan Chronicle rated three stars commented "Although, it is a tale of a honest cop who is on the trail of a dreaded don, director Sinu Vaitla relies on a band of comedians like Brahmanandam and M.S. Narayana to sustain audience interests, before his protagonist accomplishes his mission."


Sify praised the lead performances writing "Mahesh Babu`s role, particularly in the action episodes, rocks." NDTV stated "Mahesh Babu's style, dialogues and his fight sequences are a plus. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is largely an eye-candy in the film. Despite the star cast, the film's biggest flaw is the weak screenplay and several illogical sequences". Venkat of Greatandhra.com said "Overall, the film has the right ingredients to appeal the family audience and though most of it is expected, it is the pace and ability with which the audience is engaged and the entertainment value they get."


On the other hand, the film also received some mixed and negative reviews from other critics. Pavithra Srinivasan of Rediff gave it 2.5 out of 5 and criticized the film's screenplay and logic-defying sequences, while praising the performance of Mahesh Babu, calling his role a "cakewalk" and recommending the film for his fans in particular. Prakash of Oneindia.in said "To sum up, Dookudu is just another average entertainer and not in the same league as Mahesh Babu’s earlier blockbusters like Athadu and Pokiri."Haricharan Pudipeddi of nowrunning.com said "Mahesh shines in Dookudu but movie falls short." giving it 3 out of 5 stars.
Box office


The film had the largest opening for a Telugu film and collected a share of INR10.11 crores and gross of INR12.58 crores on the first day of its release. It collected a share of INR35.01 crores and grossed INR50 crores in its first week. After two weeks, it grossed INR70 crores. The movie crossed the million dollar mark in USA and grossed INR1.5 crores within two days in UK, Australia, Dubai and Canada.

Senthil Kumar is the cameraman for this movie and the unit is using a Scorpio Crane for the first time in the history of Telugu cinema and M M Keeravani is the music director. Sai Korrapati is producing this Eeega movie while Daggubati Suresh Babu is presenting it.

Venky’s Ganga-The Bodyguard audio postponed to Oct 12th!

Victory Venkatesh and Trisha starrer upcoming film "Ganga-The Bodyguard" audio was supposed to launch on today (October 1st), but now it has been postponed to October 12th, the reasons for postponement is not yet known. Presently the movie shooting is progressing in Canada, there the film unit is canning the songs for the film. The film has been completed the entire shooting part. Saloni is playing the second fiddle in it.

his film is a remake of Malayalam hit movie Bodyguard. Later it was also remade in Tamil and Hindi versions. The film “Ganga- The Bodyguard" is being directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. SS Thaman is composing the music for the film.

The film is expected to hit the screens for Diwali(october 26th)!!

Actually his marriage was supposed to be held in February, this year but due to sudden death of his father EVV Sathyanarayana in January this year it has been delayed. He is also a brother of comedy hero Allari Naresh.
