Story: Sekhar Subramanyam(Shahrukh Khan) is a video gaming Engineer, he designs a game in which the villain is unbeatable. When the trails are on; the villain character RA.ONE escapes from the game and kills Sekhar. RA.ONE takes the face of Arjun Rampal and is after Prathik(Armaan), son of Sekhar. Who saves Prathik forms the remaining part?

Performances: Shahrukh is okay and tried his best ,he looked artificial with wooden face and smile. Kareena provided the required glamour. Armaan is good. Arjun rampal was wasted. The remaining cast is okay. Weak Story line with uninteresting Screenplay makes the audience bored in the initial Scenes. The second half is okay to some extent but the climax episode was not dealt properly. Music is okay. Editing could have been better. The Direction is not up to the mark in many Scenes.

Analysis: Shahrukh suited well to the G.ONE role, his expressions and smile looked artificial at times. Kareena looked glamorous; she is hot in the song “Chammak Challo”. Master Armaan has done good job. Arjun rampal has donned yet another unimportant role; he just comes for the fight sequences in the 2nd half. The remaining cast just fills the slots. The story is poor. The director failed in incorporating the emotional content in it. Screenplay is predictable at times. The special effects are good. Some fight/ Chase sequences like Airport fight, Local train episode appeared stretched. Superstar Rajni Kanth donned a small cameo as Chitti-The ROBOT, which looked completely out of place in the movie. Priyanka Chopra and Sunjay Dutt have friendly appearances.

Cinematography is good. Music is okay with a couple of catchy songs.
“Dildaara” and “Chammak Challo” numbers are already chartbusters and they looked good on the screen as well. The background score is poor. Editing is okay. The screenplay is partially okay. The story even though fictitious lacks minimum logic at times. The Direction is mediocre. Anubav sinha completely depends on grandeur look and stylishly picturised action scenes (his earlier movies DUS, CASH ) and fails in picking good story lines. The technical values and VFX are of very good quality almost on par with Hollywood standards.





Plus: Visual effects, couple of Songs
Minus: story, Emotional content, narration



Verdict: Disappointing flick, don’t risk yourselves unless you are an ardent of Shahrukh.

Story: The story starts with the Pallava king(16th century) Bodhi Dharma who was born in kanchipuram travels all the ways to china and leads the life of a buddhist monk. Aravind(Surya) who works in Bombay Circus falls in love with Subha Srinivas( Sruthi Haasan). Subha is a biotech student and she has some other plans in becoming close to Arvind. A Chinese Martial art expert Dong Lee(Johnny Tri Nguyen) comes to India on a mission called Operation RED. What’s the mission? What happens after that forms the remaining story?

Performances: Surya donned two roles ‘Bodhi Dharma’ and ‘Aravind’- he performed extremely well, and excelled in both the roles. His performance is power packed. Sruthi is good and got a meaty role. Johnny Tri Nguyen has done very good job. The remaining supporting actors have nothing much to do other than being a part of the film. Harris Jayaraj has done wonderful job both in songs and in providing BGM. The Cinematography is fantastic. Editing is good. The VFX work is good. The Story is novel. The Screenplay could have been better. The Direction is good in most of the Scenes.

Analysis: Surya is back again with dual roles(one as a monk and other as a circus artist).Surya has already proved that he is an excellent artist, this movie enhances his abilities more. Surya stuns every one with his macho (pack body) look; his hard work is visible in the martial arts episodes. Sruthi Haasan is good and suited to the role well. Her performance is okay in many vital and emotional scenes. American-Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen is good as the bad man; he is competent enough in the fight scenes (especially in the Scene where he tries to hypnotize Surya and fails).


Cinematography is top-notch. Cinematographer Ravi.K.Chandran literally takes the audience around the Chinese villages (16th century) through the focus of his lens. The visuals are eye-catching. Music by Harris Jayaraj is good. Surya and Harris Jayaraj combo never disappoints. Three numbers are well picturised and looked great on the screen. The background score is very good. Some innovative instruments (probably might be live recording sounds) used in couple of Scenes is an experiment. Editing by Antony is okay; but could have been better as the initial 20 minutes gives us a feel of watching a documentary in History channel. Story is okay and Murugadoss succeeded in connecting Science with our age old traditions and culture. One thing the director has succeeded is in conveying the message loud and clear. Screenplay is predictable in many a scenes. The Direction is good in some scenes. The Introduction scenes (Buddha Dharma- china travel) have come up well. The special effects are done very well. The production values are very rich.

The movie revolves around very limited characters which bores the Audiences. The hypnotization episodes are interesting in the beginning but in the later part it has become a bit of overdose. The traffic jam and vehicle collision episode was stretched a bit.The Hero-Heroine Love episode is also not well handled. The title 7th Sense needs more explanation for our masses.It seems that the director may be inspired by Hollywood Flicks like INCEPTION, PERFUME. The Director failed in incorporating the required mass elements. Lack of comedy/ Entertainment can be considered as a minus. Off course the director’s intention might be “A straight and clean narrating style without getting deviated from the point”.

The first half is strictly okay, but the second half makes it up to an average Film. Technically and performance wise, the film scores in a big way and though the content is predictable, it is the execution which leaves less idle moment. The movie starts off well with a different concept and story line but later made it a predictable one.

We have to wait for the response of the B,C Centers as very less number may connect to the Tamil history.

Minus: Entertainment, Predictable Scenes


Verdict: Different film and can be watched once for the power packed performance by Surya. (If you are fed up with routine Masala flicks you may like it more).

1. First of all make sure you are logged in as Administrator.
2. Go to Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc, press OK.
3. Then go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> QOS packet Scheduler.
4. On the right it will give you the option of Limit Reservable bandwidth, open and and select Enabled, and change the value to 0.

Skim the whole text first
Take a few minutes to get to know the lay-out of the reading material. If you are reading a book, read through the Table of Contents to learn what the main ideas of the material will be. Read the last sentence of the first paragraph
Typically, this sentence is called the “thesis sentence,” which is a one sentence summary of the main point of the paper, or chapter, if reading a book.


Read first sentence of each paragraph
This sentence is called the “topic sentence” and the following sentences in the paragraph will contain supporting material or examples. Reading this sentence will determine if you need to read the rest of the paragraph or if you can skim the content, or skip ahead.


Read the first and last sentences of the last paragraph
Typically, the last paragraph will summarize the whole chapter. It is the “conclusion.” Read the last paragraph to determine if you have noted all the information, or if you need to review content for an important point you may have missed.


Do not speak each word as you read
Eyes can move faster than the mouth, in speed reading the less movement, the better.


Read everything written in Bold Print, ALL CAPS, italics, or underlined
